Cafe Europe is a group of people based around Holmfirth and the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire, who passionately believe they are European and want to celebrate being European.

• We want the UK to have the closest possible relationship with the EU, with the eventual aim of rejoining.
• We champion our European identity and the values of the European Union, including the promotion of peace, prosperity and the environment.

We formed just as the Russian invasion of Ukraine caused a seismic shift in European relationships. Since then the rise of Trump and the far right in the USA has hammered home the need for closer ties with those we have common values with. Come along to our monthly meetings and have your say.

We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7pm in various location around Holmfirth for social chats, lectures, film presentations and seasonal celebrations.
